O.o why are you using the dragon slaver image from the wiki?
*tests out mod

there is a bugg: you can`t upgrade your reactor
@Geojak, I'll check, and if I find something probably 'll be fixed on the v4.5( Already DONE [I'm waiting until I finish the "Stargate - Will of the GOds" adventure])...
v4.5
*Reactor upgrade; fix
Hey, in 1.08b, your mod crashes loading the unid for the itDestroyerArmor. I thought it might have been because you were using 'modifiers' where the base code uses 'attributes', but global search and replace changed nothing and I couldn't find anything wrong with that ItemType by eyeballing it. Another user reported this to me in IRC and I found the same problem with no other mods loaded.
Yeah I know, I'm Balancing the PunkGeek v5, it'll be compatible with v1.08b...I wasn't able to fix it, but I could avoid it, I'll reupload this mod on my lunch time...
*grabbing*
TONS of fun, just getting into the place... I had to make 4 different approaches from 3 different angles before I could get through...
But the loot I got along the way? I went from having a few hundred credits to over 40k! :D
... and then it crashed on me. Judging by the lag I was getting, I think the issue was the horsepower (or lack thereof) on the PC I was using. My home PC probably wouldn't have the same issue.
I'll test it when I get home and let you know if the issue recurs.
Here's a snippet from the crash log. It happened when I tried again later, same PC.
04/17/2012 02:53:33 Unable to find pane: Nil
04/17/2012 02:55:32 OnShieldDown [Deimos-class destroyer]: Division by zero [(20 (objGetData gSource "ioShotMax"))] ### (divide 20 (objGetData gSource "ioShotMax")) ###
Going to test the MOD with a minimal extension set (then with a clean install, with this MOD only, if it still crashes). Will let you know how that goes.
Still getting the below, though I don't know if that is in itself serious or not...
04/17/2012 06:05:06 Unable to find pane: True
04/17/2012 06:05:07 Unable to find pane: Nil
The "Division by zero" error is no longer occurring, so there must be some sort of MOD conflict...
I didn't put much coding on this mod, that attack event use ships from the game it self, I didn't modify them, so I can't really help much with this cause I never get this "bug". which MODs are you using besides this one?
...and be careful when you dock with the station, you may be hit by some plasma weapons....
I'll have to get the list and post it here later tonight - it's the list that I've tested and found they worked fine with everything else. I stripped the Extension folder down to the bare minimums (dropping out the MOD that automatically takes everything off a ship, station, or floating ore, and scuttles the ship when you're done), to the point where the MODs I really like aren't even in play.
I'm wondering if the bottleneck might still be the clunky old computer in our office 'net cafe...?
I'll try to run the original (the one that crashed before) on my laptop - which is faster - and see if that makes a difference.
If it doesn't, I'll see if I can trim the MODs in use a bit more, and try again.
If that still doesn't work, I'll post the list of MODs here. Give me a day or so, and I'll see what I can get you.
(well, my computer have a DualCore e3400 Celeron + Asus GT520 Silent Overclocked + 3GB DDR2 + Windows 7...works without problems...)
I can't imagine what could possible cause those problems, I didn't modify anything from the game... Are you using 1.08b?
Yes, I'm using 1.08b. From more careful observation, with my 'normal' MOD set, the nasties that spawn to attack the punk geek centre are spawning every sixty seconds or so.
Is that normal? Because what's happening then is I end up with several hundred entities around the PGC, and it's QUITE a dangerous place.
The loots are *GREAT* mind you, as there are a lot of wrecked hulls to explore, but it makes things dicey, and more than a little choppy on the refresh.
If you want, I can upload my Transcendence folder to an FTP server, or some file sharing storage site, and you can download it to see for yourself.
You'd just have to resume the game "Llwch" (original enough, huh?) and use the system map to find the PGC (though, if memory serves, its down at the bottom of the map, almost directly underneath the star, at the edge of the solar system.
I'm going to try disabling "The Network" and try again - from the forums, I've noticed that some people are having issues with how it works with other MODs.
Continuing trial & error. Same error came up, without "The Network". Will update shortly.
Quite simply, I gave up. Same issue occurred with the MODs that I commonly use.
christian, if you wish to see the MOD list I was using, you can view the folder contents at http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m2njlmfSGa1qmfw3uo1_1280.jpg
If you're able to identify the problem, and give me some direction on how to fix it, I may attempt to use the Punk Geek Centre again. For now, though, I'm done.
Sorry. :(
Llwch, I hope to be able to finish PGTC v5 untill the end of the month but I'm having problems with balancing, and there is the "New Sorverigns" MOD... I assure you that the new version will not be affected by any other mods.
Ok. I look forward to trying it out, then. :)
Any news on when an updated version of this MOD is going to come out?
very cool mod keep it up :)
