This mod lets you fly the Pyro GX fighter from Interplay's DESCENT games, complete with all DESCENT I and II weapons plus most powerups and accessories. Two versions are available: a standard Pyro GX meant to carry you through a regular Transcendence playthrough, and a "loaded" version that already has all DESCENT items either installed or in the cargo hold; it starts in St. Katherine's and has plenty of cash to ensure you can install anything interesting. The "loaded" ship is a godmod / cheat ship that's only meant to show off the mod, not to let you play through the game easily.Place all files in the extensions directory inside your Transcendence installation. These should work with any other mods that don't directly overwrite them; no guarantees. Release History: 25 JUN 2011 - Initial release. 05 AUG 2011 - Added a PTMC Station so you can buy all the Descent goodies; made a few minor corrections. 01 DEC 2011 - Minor corrections and adjustments. |

I loved this game, unfortunately it doesn't play on my new PC.
Go to WWW.GOG.COM (Good Old Games) and buy a legal downloadable version that will run on anything up to and including Win7. I did exactly that before writing this mod.

UPDATED AT 175 DOWNLOADS: Added a PTMC Station so you can buy all the Descent goodies; made a few minor corrections. Thanks to Azar Wolf for finding the unused station graphic in an old version of Transcendence!
I haven't even looked at it yet. I love you. I got hooked on D3 and never played much of D1 or 2, but still.
btw, can you make a Resources folder? I looked at it because I needed some stuff for Succession #2 and got lost D:

"stuff missing" (lol) errors are usually caused by:
1) mods incompatibilities, do you have any other mod installed ?
2) problems with unzipping, did you unzip the files and all the required folders and subfolders ? (some mods have subfolders)
