Galactic Map | |
This is the first Galactic Map mod designed for Transcendence 1.04. Obviously not a lot of work has been done with the new GMap technology, and as such, this is probably not the very best it could be, however it does (to the best of my knowledge) plot all systems in the regular Transcendence game. This is an Adventure Extension, but is in actual fact the regular Trans experience with a GMap added on. You will need to choose this Adventure from the New Game menu to play with the map. You will also need Transcendence 1.04, availble via the official forums. |

ThePrivateer, I ran this mod with the 1.0.4 version, and it crashed the game each time I selected, and tried to run it from the main screen. Is there another mod needed to run this extension?
It works fine for me on a fresh copy of 1.04 without any other mods installed. Check your error log, and try running it on a fresh install. It might be another mod causing it to crash.
Where can it be seen exactly?
Hety, if you are running 1.04, press M in a system to display the regular map. Then press G, and it will display the Galactic Map.
I must stress that you use 1.04, as it will not work otherwise.
Also, you must choose the GMap as an adventure when you start a new game.
I tried it. Had Eridani system right at the bottom of the map. As soon as i treid to scroll it the map filled the screen making the name invisible(it was "below" the monitor border.
Hm, thanks for that Hety.
An update is on the way, sometime in the next week, with some new graphics and a new layout that should fix some of those problems.
The Galactic Map object is still really new and I am one of the few people using it (TheNetwork by Drako Slyith is the only other one I know of).
Thanks again for getting that for me, I'll try to get it updated ASAP.
