Ultimate Mod Pack BALANCED v1.0 View Mod
MADE BY AN ITALIAN! I'M SORRY FOR ANY GRAMMATICAL MISTAKES!

VERY IMPORTANT: I'M NOT THE CREATOR OF THESE MODS!!! ALL OF THE CREDITS AND RIGHTS GO TO THE RESPECTIVE AUTHOR!!!
Read the .txt file for credits and a full list of mods in this release.

NOTE 1 - Due to size (and gameplay too) reasons, I have removed all player ships, so you have to download them separately!

NOTE 2 - In the readme there is an error: I have removed the Plasma Enhancer by Darth Saber, but I forgot to delete it from the mod list! I will fix this in the next release...

This pack is only at v1.0! Let me know if there are some mods that should be in this pack, or why not, if there is any mod you want to remove! ;)
I will update this pack when new versions of your mods are out!

I want to create an ultra cheat/god pack too, but only if my work will be appreciated and there are enough requests!

This is my idea of how a modded Transcendence game should be.

Prophet 29.09.2009 14:40

Great job and an excellent idea.

My BZ New Ships was never really implemented, and should probably be removed. It requires modifying Battlezone directly to choose which ships to spawn.

I will try and fix the conflict with Better Iocrym and BZ.

digdug 03.10.2009 03:36

excellent idea BrolyLSSJ5.

Modpacks like this semplify the life to people that love to play a game without losing time to test mods, compatibility and cross-overriding that can be a tedious work for beginners.

BrolyLSSJ5 03.10.2009 22:37

thank you prophet and digdug, your comments are very appreciate ;)

naddahere 12.10.2009 01:12

Very nice mod pack! just wondering which player ships did you remove?

BrolyLSSJ5 12.10.2009 18:38

I made a FULL pack, with several ships, but there is limit of MB we can upload on xelerus... so I decided to remove them all and the result is what you can see here!

There are only the 3 vanilla ships!

Atarlost 12.10.2009 21:25

I think the question was which other mods would you have included had there not been a size limit.

BrolyLSSJ5 13.10.2009 20:07

the old read me is lost, now I can't exactly say which ships I would included...

I will try to make a list of all the ships I wanted to include from my personal copy of this pack...

BrolyLSSJ5 31.10.2009 12:29

THIS PACK DOESN'T WORK ON 1.0RC1!!!

at least we can call this pack the final collection of mods for Transcendence until 0.99c ^^

chucktonica 27.11.2009 19:09

hey brolyLSSJ5 you think you could put together a similar set of collection of mods for the new version?

BrolyLSSJ5 28.11.2009 01:12

@chucktonica

sure I will do a pack for the new version, but I think is better to wait for the final version of 1.0 and... more mods ^^

digdug 10.05.2010 20:41

BrolyLSSJ5, what about doing the new version now ? :D

BrolyLSSJ5 15.05.2010 16:23

Im still playing vanilla game... when I finish it I will check all the mods for the new version.

Dont worry, new version will come for sure... ;)

TheDarkOne 28.08.2010 17:50

It doesn't work for me. All I get is a message saying <OnDestroy> line not something something. Bug fix version?

BrolyLSSJ5 06.10.2010 19:12

@TheDarkOne

if you are using 1.0 or later, this pack doesn't work... this pack works only on 0.99c, the last version before 1.0!

digdug 07.10.2010 01:47

welcome back BrolyLSSJ5 ! :D

BrolyLSSJ5 31.10.2010 14:08

ahahah sorry, I seldom come here on xelerus! :D

But now I'm working on the ultimate mod pack for 1.01! (because is more stable than 1.02 and 1.03)

But this time it isn't going to be a simple collection of mods... stay tuned!

digdug 01.11.2010 01:58

1.03 is quite stable, and has a few nice features that are not in 1.01

just avoid transcendence 1.02, the mods should be fine. :D

BrolyLSSJ5 01.11.2010 17:36

I know 1.03 (and 1.02 too) has more features than 1.01, but, as George said, these release are betas of transcendence 1.1, and aren't show on the main page.

So, as I want to make a noob-proof pack, my obvious choise is 1.01 ;)

If someone uses 1.03, I think he doesn't need a pack of mods... :D

Matz05 01.11.2010 23:56

I think 1.03 is pretty stable--I use it and I only notice crashes with my unholy mishmash of mods throughout the ages. Some things you just can't wean yorself off-- I wish WE3 was updated...
