This may be a little overpowered for the beginning, but I think that the original Sapphire was a bit underpowered in the beginning, so I made this. Increased cargo, one more device slot, lower speed, has some better starting equipment, and can have slightly larger armor segments. | |

Your graphics are meant for a 40-facing ship, but the ship only has 20 facings!
Oh sorry, meant to add a suggestion...
I don't know how to change the facings of the ship, but I am pretty sure that removing the even-numbered frames of your image will result in a (proper) 20-facings graphic.
OR add rotationCount="40" to the main block of the <ShipClass> tag
Also, your syntax and whitespace usage is atrocious.
