This is a Gimp file with a lot of layers in it for making new shield and armor graphics. There is at least one layer of each type, to give you an example of what to do to make your own. I started this before I knew about Bobby's file, and most of Bobby's file was already duplicated in this one when I did, and this file goes beyond Bobby's work.Just play around with turning the layers on and off to see how different elements can be combined. Updated to include some examples of more shapes for ship backgrounds, and effects you can do with layers that modify the look of other layers. Now includes a readme with instructions on how to do some of the stuff I did. Free for all to use, but with your own ship graphics, of course. v0.3 |
