The second in a line of highly advance AI wingman, the Hornet was designed by Aristar Industries to resemble the Hornet Battlepod. The original Hornet Battlepod by Earth Industries failed to protect Earth during the Syrtis War, but is known quite well as a pest, nuisance, and general threat in large numbers to unwary escort pilots. Armed with a Shuriken neutron blaster, and protected by a Class III Deflector Shield, our Hornet-Class wingman is designed to mimic this trait with a vengence. To quote the username of one of our fellow Transcendence citizens: "HornetBattlepodsRule!" |
