The Type Scrambler takes types from loaded extensions and scrambles their properties beyond recognition. Possible results include laser weapons that actually shoot antimatter, weapons being renamed to armor segments, and the Commonwealth Star Carrier-class armed transport. Due to the chaotic nature of randomization, it is difficult to completely scramble Transcendence without making it unplayable in the process. Although this mod has been toned down to randomize at most 800 ships, items, effects, and tables, it may still be prone to crashes. Scrambling code takes time, so loading may take a while. The randomized XMLs are printed to the debug log whenever the mod is activated. |
