Hmmm

Thank you! That was always so annoying, not knowing about your ship that you DO know when you pick it to begin with. Definitely going to try this!

Reuploaded at 5 downloads. Device slot detection no longer creates and destroys ships.

Good! You switched to typGetDataField I presume? (I petitioned to get that data in there due to dealing with the exact same problem in 1.03 ... though 10,000 sapphires coming from all directions to gate out was pretty awesome ... I did fix that >_>)

I used typGetDataField. The problem was I did not think "deviceSlots" could be used for items too, instead of ships only, at the time.

Also, I did not realize you made a similar mod (Detailed Ship Config 2.0) for 1.04. I may have glanced at it when it was released, but forgot about it. I tried it recently, but it does not work for 1.08. If it did, I would not have bothered making this mod, or at least I would have embedded this in Playership Drones v5. Someone requested ship stats, so I made this.

Oh, yeah, there needs to be more documentation about this crap.

Updating that mod is one of the higher up items on my to-do list that hasn't been getting anything to-done on it ... >_>.

Oh, and no big on similar ideas and whatnot, it's just a strange feeling at first when you see somethin' like that, at least for me.

Game version 1.08b.does this mean that this mod works only on 1.08b or what?

PM 02.09.2012 23:08

It means it was developed for and works on 1.08b. It may or may not work for other versions. That said, it works for me on 1.08f.
